In brackets everything has to multiplied by 3. It there is no sign between its always multiply!

this means that it has to be

    3 x X + 3 x 11

this means that we can also multyplay 3 by 11 now.

and that equals to 33. There fore the expansion will be:

    3 x X + 33

we can also simplify 3 x X which would be 3x (as I mentioned before, It there is no sign between its always multiply!)

    so the expansion for 3 (x+11) is 3x + 33
