A square is 8 inches along each side. A rectangle is 6 inches wide and 10 inches long. Which shape has the greater perimeter? Explain.

    Same perimeter

    Square - 8+8+8+8 = 32

    8x4 = 32

    Rectangle - 6+6+10+10 = 32
