    The first thing you do is distribute. So multiply - 7 to n and 6 to get - 7n-42=-91 add over - 42 to - 91 to get - 7n=-133 then divide by 7 on both sides and you get n=19

    -91=-7 (n+6) step 1: distribute - 7 to n and 6

    -91=-7n + (-42) step 2: add 42 to both sides

    -91+42=-7n + (-42) + 42

    -49=-7n step 3: divide both sides by - 7

    -49/-7=-7n/-7

    7=n
