Rule for calculating the average of a set of scores is:

Average Score = Sum of Scores/Number of Scores

    Sum of scores = 120 + 144 + 143 + 111 + 167 = 685

    Number of scores = 5

    Average Score = 685/5 = 137

Thus his average score is 137.
