Is the area of a semi circle with a radius of X greater than less than or equal to the area of a circle with a diameter of 2X

    For the semi circle the area would be (x²π) / 2 and for the circle we do 2/2=1 to find the radius x²π

    for this we can sub values in so if x=5 5²=25 25π=78.5398 78.5398/2=39.2699=39.27 for the other one it would just be 25π=78.5398

    so the area of the semi circle would be less than the area of the full circle
