The cruise family went on vacation to Europe. Their first flight was 6/7 long. The second flight was 2 3/7 long. How many hours in total were they flying?

    3 2/7 hours long. You just keep the two as a whole number and add 6 to 3 to get 9 and subtract 7 from 9 and 2 is left as the numerator and the denominator does not change
