A quantity, t, varies inversely with a quantity, r. If t = 6, then r = 5.

What is the constant of variation?

    T = k/r where k is the constant of variation

    substituting:-

    6 = k / 5

    multiplying both sides by 5:

    30 = k

    canstant of variation = 30
