    1st term = 6

    2nd term = 24 + 3

    3nd term = 111

    4th term = 447

    5th term = 1791

    6th term = 7167

    Is there a simplified formula?

    Start with 1.

    1st number = 1

    2nd number = 1 * 4 + 3 = 7

    3rd number = 7 * 4 + 3 = 31

    4th = 31 * 4 + 3 = 127

    5th = 127 * 4 + 3 = 511

    Which means the 6th = 511 * 4 + 3, which is 2047.
