    Let the width be W and the length be 5 + 2W

    Perimeter = 2 (length + width)

    88 = 2 (W + 5 + 2W) = 2 (3W + 5) = 6W + 10

    6W = 88 - 10 = 78

    W = 78/6 = 13

    L = 5 + 2 (13) = 5 + 26 = 31

    Therefore, length = 31 cm, width = 13 cm
