Then multiply the number of sodas (8) by the cost of each soda ($1.50). You should get $12 for the cost of the 8 sodas. Now add up the total costs of the 4 pizzas ($20), two orders of breadsticks ($2), and the 8 sodas ($12) to get $34. Now divide 34 by 8 to get you answer, $4.25. Therefore, each student owes $4.25 before tax
