A rectangle has an area of 40 and a perimeter of 28 what is it's length

    It is 10, because area=length x width and perimeter is 2L + 2W so is we multiply 10 times 4 we get 40 for the area, and if we add all the sides (4+4+10+10) we get 28. So 10 must be the length of the rectangle
