    Y = 2x+5

    y = 6x+1

    Just substitute.

    y = 2x+5

    6x+1 = 2x+5

    6x-2x = 5-1

    4x = 4

    x = 1

    Then, insert x = 1 into one of the equation. Let's say I choose number one.

    y = 2x+5

    y = 2 (1) + 5

    y = 7

    Y=2x+5

    y=6x+1

    y=2x+5

    2x+5=6x+1

    y=2x+5

    2x-6x=1-5

    y=2x+5

    -4x=-4 / : (-4)

    y=2x+5

    x=1

    x=1

    y=2*1+5

    x=1

    y=2+5

    x=1

    y=7
