    Y = mx + b

    slope (m) = 5

    (-6,8) ... x = - 6 and y = 8

    now we sub and find b, the y int

    8 = 5 (-6) + b

    8 = - 30 + b

    8 + 30 = b

    38 = b

    so ur equation is : y = 5x + 38
