A building casts a shadow 48 feet long. at the same time, a 40-foot-tall flagpole casts a shadow of 9.6 feet long. what is the hight of the building?

    Answer: 200 ft

    x=height of building

    Equation showing relationship: height of building/shadow length of building=height of flagpole/shadow length of flagpole

    x/48=40/9.6

    48*40=9.6x

    x=200 ft
