The Marrieds are planning to serve 380 guests at a breakfast event. They plan to serve tomato juice, which comes in 46 oz. cans. Assuming they plan to serve each guest a 5 oz. portion and that there are 12 cans in a case, how many cases of tomato juice will they need?

    Amount of tomato juice to be served = 5 x 380 = 1900 oz.

    Number of cans in 1900 oz = 1900 / 46 = 41.3 cans

    Number of cases containing 41.3 cans = 41.3/12 = 3.44 cases
