The value of a car is inversely proportional it its age. If a car is worth $6400 when it is 6 years old, how old will it be when it is worth $4800?

    V = k/a

    6400 = k/6

    k = 6400 x 6 = 38400

    4800 = 38400/a

    a = 38400/4800 = 8

    It will be 8 years old when it is worth $4800.
