    Let d = m / V

    m = Vd = (2.5 x 3.0 x 3.5) cm³ x 7.31 g/cm³

    m = 191.9 g this is the mass of tin

    the balanced chemical equation is.

    Sn (s) + 2HCl (aq) - - > SnCl2 (aq) + H2 (g)

    191.9g ... m=.? g

    so it is

    191.9g Sn x (1 mol Sn / 118.7 g Sn) x (2 mol HCl / 1 mol Sn) x (36.5 g HCl / 1 mol HCl) = 120g HCl

    the mass of HCl = 120g
