    The answer is: 13/2 x 1/2 = 3 1/4

All you would need to do to get the answer is divide 6/1/2 by 2

    6 1/2 divided by 2

Convert 6 1/2 to improper fraction

    6 1/2 = 13/2

    Convert 2 to a fraction

    2/1

    Divide:

    13/2 divided by 2/1

When dividing fractions, you have to flip the second fraction and change the divide sign into a multiplication sign.

    13/2 x 1/2 = 3 1/4
