No. He has enough for 36 students, not for 37.

    He needs another 40 pages.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    1440/40 = 36

He has enough paper to make exactly 36 packets of 40 pages each.

    He needs another 40 pages.

    1440/40 = 36

    there are only 36 packets

he will need 1 more packet

    Each packet contains 40 pages

so he will need 40 more pieces of scrap paper
