The right rectangular prism is packed with unit cubes of the appropriate unit fraction edge lengths. Find the volume of the right rectangular prism in centimeters. (Figure not to scale)

    You find the area first

    L x W of the rectangle only.

    To find volume : you find the depth of the square and multiply this by the area above.

    Whatever the number is you add 'unit sq'

    Lets say the rectangular prism measured L12 units x W6units x D4units

    A = 72unit square

    V = D4 x A72 = 4 x 72 = 288unitsq cubes
