In a police chase on the interstate, the suspect's car reached a speed of 88 miles per hour for a total 15 minutes. In that time, how many miles did the chase last? Use the formula Distance = Rate x Time. If the rate is in miles per hour, then the time must be in hours.

    22 miles, because it is 88 mph and 15 minutes. 15 times 4 = 80 and 88/4=22 so 22 miles is your answer
