    The answer is 1.

    When you are solving any equation no matter what the base is (in this case it is 3), if the answer is 0, than we are looking for 1. This is because a log is showing that the base (3) raised to the answer (0) is equal to the number (the x you forgot to put in the equation. If we show that algebraically we get:

    3^0 = x

    And anything raised to the 0th power is 1.
