    3x+5=2x-10

    -2x - 2x

    X+5=-10

    -5 - 5

    X=-15

    3 (-15) + y=5

    -45+y=5

    +45 + 45

    y=50

    2 (-15) - y=10

    -30-y=10

    +30 + 30

    -y=40

    Divide by - 1 on both sides

    y=-40
