If you know the perimeter of the square, you can find the area of the square in two steps. Describe the two steps.

    It's simple. If you know the perimeter of a square, just divide by 4 due to the 4 sides making the perimeter up. Now you have the length of just one side. Area = l*w or in this case s^2, so just multiply the side by itself and you have the area of a square!

    1) Take the perimeter and divide it by 4.

    2) Take the answer from step 1 and square it (multiply by itself)
