    when solving for slope use the equation M=y2-y1/x2-x1

    this is how you would set it up:

    1.) set out your Ys and Xs:

    Y2 = 2 Y1 = 0 X2 = 3 X1 = - 3

    2.) set up your equation:

    M = Y2-Y1 / X2-X1

    M = 2 - (0) / 3 - (-3)

    M = 2/6

    M = 1/3

    3.) your answer is:

    M = 1/3
