The reflecting dish of a car headlight is in the shape of a parabola that is 3 inches deep and 6 inches wide. So that the light reflects into the dish and out from the light parallel to the headlights axis of symmetry, how far from the base of the light should the light bulb be placed (round your answer to the nearest hundredth) ?

    3*6=18 i beleive the answer is 18 in^2
