What's 7/8 (seven eighths) x 1 1/2 (one and one half)

    21/16 which simplifies to 1 and 5/16

    You get this by making 1 1/2 a mixed number (3/2). To get 3/2 you do: bottom times the side plus the top---2x1=2+1=3. So 3/2

    Then you multiply across:

    7x3=21

    8x2=16

    So 21/16 is your answer
