In the 6th grade the ratio of 7:4. if there are 15 more boys than girls, how many 6th grade students are there in total?

    Let the number of girls=4x

    then number of boys=7x

    7x-4x=15

    3x=15

    x=15/3=5

    boys=5*7=35

    girls=4*5=20

    number of students=35+20=55
