A cylinder has a volume of 288pie cubic meters and a height of 9 meters. What is the area of the base?

    288 = 3.14 (r²) (9)

    288 = 3.14 (9r²)

    288 = 28.26r²

    28.26 28.26

    10.19 ≈ r²

    3.19 ≈ r

    B = πr²

    B = 3.14 (3.19) ²

    B = 3.14 (10.19)

    B = 31.9966
