Carmen is considering joining one of the two movie clubs. Movie Galore charges a monthly membership fee of $10, plus $0.50 per movie. Cinephile charges a monthly membership fee of $15, plus $0.25 per movie. How many movies must Carmen rent in a month to get a better deal from Cinephile?

    25 movies.

    So basically you start and end at 1 month so,

    Galore Cost =

    $10

    Galore Per Movie =

    0.5 x 25 = 12.5 + 10 = $22,5

    Cinephile Cost =

    $15

    Cinephile Per Movie =

    0.25 x 25 = 6.25 + 15 = 21.25
