Why is 0.8 and 0.80 named the same?

    0.8 and 0.80 are named the same because both of them numbers have an 8 in the tenths place and a zero in the hundredths place. No matter how many zeros you add on to the end of the decimal, it does not change its value.

    Because 0.8 is only 10 away from 0.80
