Manny and Emma are entering a long jump competition at their school. Manny can jump 4/5 of the distance Emma can jump. Manny can jump 40 inches. How far can Emma jump?

    50 inches 4/5*x=40

    x=40 / (4/5)

    x=40*5/4=200/4=50 x=50 inches
