If 5 potatoes together have a mass of 1 kilogram and 8 pears together have a mass of 1,200 grams, which has the greater mass, a potato or a pear? explain

    The potato has greater mass because if you divided 1000g:5=200g for 1 potato, and if you divide 1,200g:8=150g for 1 pear. So the potato has greater mass.
