    Find f (18)

    g (f (18)) =

    g (5/6 (18) + 5) =

    g (15+5) =

    g (20) =

    5 (20) + 6=

    100+6=

    106

    selling price is $106

The function for the cost of materials to make a shirt:

    f (x) = 5/6 x + 5

    f (18) = 5/6 x + 5

    f (18) = 5/6 (18) + 5

    f (18) = 15 + 5

    f (18) = 20 or f (x) = 20

The function for the selling price of those shirts:

    g (x) = 5x+6

    g (18) = 5x+6

    g (18) = 5 (18) + 6

    g (18) = 90 + 6

    g (18) = 96 or g (x) = 96
