    2 and 1/2 times it's cost

    find profiit

    10 times 2 and 1/2=10 times 2.5=25

    profit=sold-cost

    sold=25

    cost=10

    profit=25-10=15

    then

    100 of them

    times 100 profie

    15 times 100=1500

    profit is $1500

    10 times 100 = 1,000

    10 times 2.5 = 2,500

    2,500 minus 1,000 = 1,500 = profit
