The length of a rectangle is 3 feet more than twice the width. If the perimeter is 72 feet, what is the length of the rectangle

    Perimeter of a rectangle=2 (w+l)

    l=2w+3

    72=2 (w+2w+3)

    72=2 (3w+3)

    36=3 (w+1)

    12-1=w

    w=11

    L=25
