Lets say X Y are both 3. Just do the math!

    X2 Y2 = (3*2) * (3*2) = 6*6=36

    X2-Y2 = (3*2) - (3*2) = 6-6=0

    2 (X Y) = 2 * (3*3) = 2*9=18

    (X Y) 2 = (3*3) * 2=9*2=18

    The answer is X2 Y2

Try this with other numbers and you should come up with the same results!
