Is baking powder less dense or more dense than water?

    Baking soda or sodium bicarbonate has a density of 2.2 g/cubic centimeter while Water has a density of 1 g/cubic centimeter. Therefore, since density of baking soda is greater than that of water, it is indeed denser.
