    There are certain characteristics of light that define its place in the EM spectrum, like wavelength and frequency. A small part of the EM spectrum is EM light, with a wavelength of 400-700 nm. Infrared has a bigger wavelength and Ultraviolet has a smaller one. The fact is that c=f*λ where c is the speed of light, f is the frequency and λ is the wavelength. Since the energy of a light wave is proportional to its frequency, we conclude that the energy of a light wave is inversely proportional to its wavelngth. Given the above, the correct answer is c)
