You measure out 20.0 milliliters of the liquid and find its mass to be 15.9 grams. According to the table, which liquid do you believe is the mystery substance? A) Lamp oil B) Baby oil C) Vegetable oil D) Rubbing alcohol

    Density has units of grams/mL

    So divide grams by milliliters to get the density.

    15.8 g / 20 mL = 0.795 g/mL

    that's a very low density so I'm going to guess it's the rubbing alcohol but look in tables provided to you.
