    To get the total work, you will add the Applied work + frictional work.

    applied work = 20N x 5meter which is the displacement

    frictional work = Weight x displacement

    where the weight = mass x gravitational acceleration

    weight=10 kg x 9.8 m/s^2

    =98 kg m/s^2 or Newton

    work = N x m

    =98 N x 5 meters

    =490

    Total work = 490-450

    40 Joules

    answer is letter A.

    The first thing you should remember is the definition of work

    W = F * d

    Where

    W: Work done.

    f: Force

    d: Distance.

    Substituting the values we have:

    W = (20) * (5) = 100Nm = 100J

    The answer is

    (2) 100J
