An airplane flies horizontally with a speed of 300 m/s at an altitude of 400 m. assume that the ground is level. at what horizontal distance from a target must the pilot release a bomb so as to hit the target?

    Since we know that the speed of plane is 300m/s (v) altitude of place is 400m (d1) and gravity is 9.8m/s/s (g), we need to figure out the distance back that the plane needs to release the bomb. All in all, it is obvious that d2 = v * t.
