    22N=weight of apples

    gravity=9.81ms^-2 or 9.81N/kg

    Weight of apples = mass of apples * gravity

    22N=mass of apples * 9.81N/kg

    therefore, mass of apples = 22 N / (9.81N/kg)

    mass of apples = 2.243 kg
