Mass of Britney with skate board = 62 kg

Total with pumpkin m = 62 + 3.7 = 65.7 kg

Speed of the skateboard V = - 0.16 m/s (backward)

The final momentum M = m x V = 65.7 x - 0.16 = - 10.512 kg-m/s

For pumpkin momentum = m x V = 3.7V

Since the total initial momentum and the final momentum are zero,

3.7V + (-10.512) = 0 = > 3.7V = 10.512

The Speed of the pumpkin V = 10.512 / 3.7 = 2.84 m/s
