    A car of mass 1000kg pushes 2000kg

    The forward force is 4500N

    Then, summation of the forward forces is ma

    ΣF = Σ (ma) = m1a1 + m2a2

    Since the body are moving together then, they will have the same acceleration (a)

    ΣF = Σ (ma) = (m1+m2) a

    Let m1=1000kg.

    m2=2000kg

    F=4500N

    Then,

    4500 = (1000+2000) a

    4500=3000a

    Then,

    a=4500/3000

    a=1.5m/s²
