The black shirt would be hotter.

    Explanation:

Most of us have already felt regret for leaving the house wearing black clothes on a hot day and with the sun showing. This has to do with the fact that black or very dark colored objects are absorbent, while light clothes and objects are reflective.

Going back to physics classes, we came to the idea that the color that we see in an object is related to the wavelengths of light reflected in that object, right?

Black objects, like the shirt you decided to wear, are black in color because they absorb all wavelengths in white light, but do not reflect any of them.

Then, throughout the day, you walk, run so as not to miss the bus, go out to lunch, and the shirt ends up absorbing all the light that comes from the Sun. As this light does not simply disappear, it is converted into other forms of energy - the heat enters there, which is then emitted. Therefore, the darker a garment, the more heat it will emit, and this is because it is a beautiful absorber of light.
