A person was pushing a wall but the wall did not move. Do you think she was

applying force on the wall? Why?

    She was applying force on the wall but the wall also was exerting an equal opposite force of reaction on her (Newton's third law). It can be said that she did not do WORK on the walk because the wall had no displacement.
