    Explanation:

    We know that the rotation and orbital period of the Moon is same. Because of this an observer on Earth will only be able to see half of the Moon from the Earth as the other side (known as the far side) of the Moon never faces towards the Earth. To see the far side one will need to orbit the Moon.

    Since, Earth rotates faster in comparison to Moon and completes the same in 24 hours. A person on Moon will see phases of the Earth as well as whole of Earth.
