    in series voltage = 5.538 V

    in parallel voltage = 8 V

    Explanation:

    given data

    voltage = 8.0V

    resistors R1 = 2.0 kilo ohms

    resistors R2 = 4.5 kilo ohms

    to find out

    voltage

    solution

    we know if the resistors in series

    voltage formula is

    voltage = V R2 / R1+R2 ... 1

    put here all value

    voltage = 8 (4.5) / (2+4.5)

    voltage = 5.538 V

    and

    if the resistors in parallel

    voltage is same across resistor i. e 8 V
