How does the rotation speed vary as you move outward for a person sitting on a playground merry go round? How about the force here, how does this change?

If you are circling with uniform circular motion w is the same for both of you meaning that the closer you are to the centre the slower your linear speed is. This is because of centrifugal force acting radially outwards on the child actually rotating in the merry go round.
